Swahili is a bantu language, it has a lots of different origins. Swahili is a mixed of African, Indian,German, Portugeese.It is spoken in many different places. Swahili has a little bit of p. Swahili took several words from different cultures. It has a little bit of Persian too.
In the past Arabic, Persian,and other countries that are not bantu countries were intermarried with bantu languages. That's how swahili came it's a mixed language.
Swahili is most spoken in Africa. In the Eastern and central parts of Africa. Almost everyone in Tanzania.
Swhaili is a hard language but it's very interesting. But if you really want to learn Swhahili you have to work hard on it it would take you maybe six (6) months to learn swahili. What I did is you could make flashcards and read them everytime you have time. A LOT EASIER!!
How to make flash cards:
First step : you can make your flash cards by hand or by this blog called flash card machine the site is called http://flascardmachine.com then you have to create your cards.
Step : Print all the words and glue it double sided
Step 3 : Learn them every time you have time
